24 Stunden Kraut Salat - 24 Hour Cole Slaw by Anni Franz

Ingredients
1 Large head of cabbage, shredded 2 large onions, thinly sliced
3/4 cup sugar *Hot dressing

Directions: Stir sugar into cabbage. Place 1/2 into large bowl. Cover with onions, then top with remaining cabbage. Pour boiling hot dressing over slowly. Do not stir. Cover and refrigerate at once for about 24 hours. Stir before serving.

*Hot dressing: 1 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp. mustard (grainy), 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 cup vinegar, 1 cup oil (Canola). Combine all ingredients except oil and bring to a boil. Then add oil, stir and return to a rolling boil.
